hosted a free 5K run for Boston. They sold commemorative “Keep Running” shirts and 100% of the proceeds will go to the victims of the bombing.

Just before the race started, they announced that over $10,000 had been raised.

Before the race began, we started with the crowd-pleasing “Sweet Caroline”–you have no idea how much Utahns love Neil Diamond–followed by a moment of silence, and then the singing of the National Anthem.

This race was made even more special because I got to run it with my daughter Kait–who, by the way, has also agreed to run the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay race with me in June.

Yay.
